Ankle Rotations

Helps to improve ankle mobility. Can also help with co-ordination, balance and leg strength.

Start with five rotations on each leg.


  • Make this easier

    • Decrease the number of repetitions.
    • Make the circles smaller.
  • Make this harder

    • Increase the number of repetitions.
    • Try to make larger circles.


Step 1

Lift one leg slightly off the floor.

Step 2

Begin to rotate the foot clockwise, creating a circular motion.

Step 3

Then after 10 seconds move the foot anti-clockwise.

Step 4

Then change legs and rotate the other foot.
