Step & Clap

Can improve endurance and aerobic fitness if used as part of an aerobic training workout. Works your outer and inner thigh and hip muscles. Improves co-ordination and arm strength.


  • Make this easier

    • Focus on the feet only.
    • Slide the foot along the floor to start with.
    • Keep the place slow.
  • Make this harder

    • Step to the side and clap, at the same time.
    • Increase the pace of the activity.
    • Increase the duration of the activity.


Step 1

Lift and tap one foot out to the side.

Step 2

Lift your arms out to the same side and clap.

Step 3

Return arms and legs to the starting position and move the other way.
